During my final year of university, I developed an experiment to test how level design affected interaction between players. The test was run for 3 months with 8 players with variations in skill levels.
 

  1. Created paper prototypes for developing test spaces for the research 

  2. Created 10 levels using the Hammer level engine

  3. Collected data and made adjustments to levels in response to information

  4. Organized playtesting sessions 

  5. Finalized one of the 10 levels from concept to white box
